While surfing is not a team sport, it does take a coach, a spotter on the shore, someone to build the surfboard, and a few other people in the mix to make it a successful endeavor. When you relate that to life, it makes sense, because though you are an individual, it takes your cooperation with others to ride the “waves” most effectively.
